Craft, judgement and artistic identity

Tattoo training in Alicante, Spain

I teach the knowledge I have built in practice since 2015: precision in Fine Line, reading the skin, micro detail, custom design, composition and positioning. My aim is not for students to copy the way I tattoo, but to understand the principles and develop a way of working that is theirs.

What we work on

The formats adapt to each professional's level and goal. They can include theory, practice on synthetic skin, demonstration, work with a real model, materials analysis and follow-up after the training.

  1. 01The fundamentals and the limits of Fine Line.
  2. 02Choosing needles, machines, voltage and materials to suit the goal.
  3. 03Depth, speed, stretch and stability of the hand.
  4. 04Reading the skin and adapting technique to it.
  5. 05Designing for healing and visual longevity.
  6. 06Micro detail, delicate shading and building contrast.
  7. 07Anatomical composition and applying the stencil.
  8. 08Photography, presenting the work and perceived value.
  9. 09Creative process and the fundamentals of the Imago Vitae® Method.
  10. 10Client care, experience and building a professional identity.

There are four formats, because a professional starting out and one sharpening their judgement do not need the same thing: a structured course to build the base, an individual and intensive VIP workshop, ongoing professional mentoring, and talks or demonstrations for studios, academies and events. The principles of reading skin, contrast and longevity hold equally for micro realism, realism and Fine Art.

Who it is for

For tattooers who want to start on a responsible footing, professionals from other styles who want to command delicate lines, and artists already working in Fine Line but looking for more consistency, judgement, healing quality and personality.

Before confirming any training I look at the student's level, experience and goal. If the format is not right for where they are, I say so plainly and recommend the better next step. It is not for anyone looking for a shortcut: fine line punishes haste and is learned through supervised repetition.

Frequently Asked

About the training

Do you run courses and mentoring?

Yes. I offer training in Fine Line, micro detail, reading the skin, custom design, composition and professional development. The formats can be a course, an individual VIP workshop, professional mentoring or a talk.

Do I need previous experience?

It depends on the format. The course welcomes anyone building the base; mentoring is meant for working professionals. I assess the level before confirming and say plainly which one fits.

Is there practice on real skin?

The format can include practice on synthetic skin, demonstration and work with a real model. It is decided by the student's level and the conditions of that edition.

Is there follow-up afterwards?

Yes. Follow-up is part of the mentoring and the VIP workshop, because most of the real questions appear once the student is back in their own studio.

Want to train with me?

Tell me your level, your experience and what you want to solve. From there I will tell you which format fits.
